Eli Whitney's End of the Year Picnic 2017
June 15, 2017 Another school year has come to a close, but no one wants to say goodbye. So the PTSA decided to throw an end of the year informal get together tonight at Boothe Memorial Park. It was great to see so many families show up and kids having a great time with their friends. Click on a photo to be taken to a larger view Eli Whitney's new Assistant Principal, Rob Veteri, dropped in to introduce himself. Mr. Veteri might be new to you, but he is not new to Whitney. He went to Whitney as a student, and was one of my fifth grade students. He was an outgoing boy and wonderful student whom I enjoyed having in my class and I know he will do a wonderful job in this new position. It gives me great pride to see my former students grow up and become teachers.
